2002 JUN 06 PRACTICING THE ART OF GRAND THEFT AUTO

For the last week, public transportation has been my enemy. I've walked nearly everywhere I've gone. Anytime my destination is a duplicate (e.g., campus), I've taken a different route. It's kept me busy; a bit of exercise in-combo with exploration. Of particular note is the West Village. Amazes me how beautiful some of the buildings are around there. With its delicate European flair, Greenwich and Church Streets are sights to behold. It's astounding how you don't see the gems in your backyard unless you dig, even just a bit.

Summer is here, and that brings about the sense of urgency in me. Do this, do that. Do everything that couldn't be done before and do them now. The weather's nice, a chill seventy plus, nearly perfect for getting things done.

Lately, I've been having trouble writing down my thoughts. It's not that I don't have anything to say, or even that I don't have the time, but rather it's that I've been lacking the patience. Maybe I need some new colors, some new life. Some new inspiration. Maybe.
