Your Lucky Day
Looking at people's profiles/away messages on AOL Instant Messenger is truly a life-changing experience. No, seriously. If anything, it gives hints of a world gone ballistic: People you know are no longer who they were. Maturation comes with every day that we live and, well, these little inscriptions tell the whole story.
Here now are selected writings from my very own buddy list's NYU/Stern section:
sleeping my cares away
and living in my dreams
./
I love you sleep... i love yoooouuu...
./
the behavior of consumers = bullshit marketing class
./
I am currently away from the computer.
./
anywhere but here
./
i wuuuvvvvvvvvv _____!!!!!! :-)
./
you may call me a dreamer, but my dreams will come true
./
brain cells come and brain cells go, but fat cells live forever.
./
apparently i talk in my sleep.... talk about a dangerous habit eh?
./
those whom the gods would destroy, they first make proud
./
fuck, more shit due tomorrow.
./
this could be your lucky day
./
You are in my heart, always. If it was meant to be, it will be.
./
They'll never catch me, cause I'm fucking innocent.
./
Guess even business students rely on dreams and hopes and loves to sleep at ease. Word. We all change. We get smarter by thinking practically. We're not just kids anymore.
