A Theory on Procrastination
The sense of urgency drives me. The impending fact of a complete and utter fuck-up, failure deemed to be the lowest of the low drives me. It is a sick, twisted catalyst, but one that is an absolutely adrenaline rush. Push. Push like that.
The clockwork methodics that many live byof schedules and calendars, neatly scratched out, marked off, all nice and properthey're all so boring. After all, is it fun to be so predictable?
If the average American man lives to be 70, then I should have 70% of my life left. Of course, with all the financial stress, academic mediocrity and ridiculous calorie count in my arteries, who's to say I'll actually survive that long?
So, let's have fun. Let's fuck up, and let's learn. Let's enjoy the ride knowing that our alter ego's removed the brakes off the car.
