Kissing For a New Something

Let me say this while I am capable of doing so:

Happy New Year.

The last time I wrote on New Year's Eve about the new year, the only thing on my mind was having to worry about "having to get used to writing a '99' instead of a '98' after everything."

This year, I express it to you directly. This is my first New Year's as an adult, and my first one where I can honestly say that everything is okay. Everything will be okay. That's the one thing I've learned in these twenty-one years of existence. Pigs may fly, the women's basketball team from the University of Connecticut may lose, the Cincinnati Bengals may win the next Super Bowl, and your world may be turned upside down. Yet even with all of hell's upheavals, everything will be just fine.

And in the end, one thing will remain a fact: I like you. And you like me. So, let's get together and make babies.
