What's tragic is always underestimated. It doesn't hit you until a year later when you're sitting in front of the tele, sipping on apple juice and witnessing the heartbreaking loss of your favorite sports team. Then you realize, "How pathetic is it that I'm weeping for a sports team where every member makes enough money to put my kid and my kid's kid through college? How pathetic is it compared to everything else there is?"
That withstanding, our priorities are misclassified due to social exhuberance. I'm not at fault, and neither are you. How the hell did I end up with Nowitzki, Nash and Walker on my fantasy team? That is the quintissential modern day worry.
I am what I ignore. I am an illegitimate persona.
