Ponder ponder transponder the times you’ve seen her say hello
The times lies dropped from leaves so cold, so bold
That you ate, with mayonnaise and ketchup to boot
It was once what it was, but time decayed those thoughts into mistrust
Dissected, infected and dominated by symmetry
Willing victims hoping for anonymity (and some thunder)
But when I’m under the knife, I only look at the glow
Of the airy space around your eyes, the mental subject of desire
Of faith and discretion, of velvet-laden boundaries
Of sympathetic outliers, of pathetic sliding gliders
Petrified, amber-like
Letting the sun shine
Ponder ponder transponder the times you felt it was okay
To say hello back
And clinch the deal
